AFP testing or NT Scan?

in 1st Trimester

are you going to do any of these testings? What are your opinions?

    We had a NT scan done and loved everyone moment of it ... We got to hear the heart beat and saw it wave one or twice :) 

    So if you have the option I would go for it, just so that you can see your baby move around :)

    BFP 1: Sept 5, 2011 - Ended in Chemical Pregnancy at 5 Weeks
    BFP 2: Dec 2012 - Baby Girl born in July 2012
    BFP 3: Sept 5, 2013 - D&C on Oct 16, 2013
    BFP 4: Jan 30, 2014 - Stick baby Stick ... Due Date Oct 1, 2014

    We just had our NT scan done this morning. It was amazing! I would definitely recommend it!

    Thirty Tiny Toes: My Triplet Blog Pregnancy Ticker NT Scan at 13 weeks 99% sure it's B/G/G! Contractions at 15 weeks and cerclage put in.

    Our dr. recommends it, but it's only optional. The doctor I saw today is learning to do it from one of the other doctors that's not doing it anymore, so we get a free NT scan from him. If we want a "real" one, we have to go somewhere else to get it done. Since it's optional, I don't think Insurance will pay for it, so we will see how much it is before doing it. But at least we get one free!

    I did a NT scan because its not invasive and I got to see the babies!! However, I honestly don't think its necessary. I'm not going to do any further testing if they come back abnormal.
