MARGARITAS!

I was venting to my husband about my disappointing 39 week appointment. I told him that I give up on believing that I will ever have this child (no progress this week - or ever, really), and I figured that if I just assume that I will be pregnant forever, I will be less disappointed in a no-progress appointment. Then I said that I think I should just drink a margarita because I am tired of playing by the rules and it would at least make me feel better.

His response was, "...if you really want the margarita I think you should wait until tomorrow & have one in public so we can see the looks on people?s faces." He's awesome.

How did you know I've been craving margaritas like a booze hound fresh in AA?  This post is just cruel ;)

Sorry! If it helps, it was hard for me to write without running to the liquor cabinet. What I really want though is a swig of the Don Q Mojita that we brought back from Puerto Rico and I haven't been able to drink because I found out I was pregnant about 5 minutes after we got home from that trip. I might have to change my mind about breastfeeding...

My OB okay'd me for red wine.  Doit

I am personally not a big wine drinker, but my doc said it was ok as well. Technically, he was telling me that it helps stop false labor, but you know...what isn't false labor?
