Gender reveal

yes I'm already planning.... I'm not set on the whole gender reveal party (no one REALLY wants to go to those) so... I was thinking about finding a cute way to have me and my SO take cute pictures revealing gender.. Then post on all social media sites we have & send in baby shower invitations too! So... Any ideas? (Second though I might have a SMALL get together with close friends/family) not sure I just need ideas for both! I've been looking on Pinterest and I've seen a lot of these already been used... Bummer.

I've been thinking about this too.  We should be finding out right before we go on our family beach trip.  So I'm just thinking of having them write gender on paper in envelope and taking it to the beach and having a bakery down there make either pink/blue inside and then have the reveal at the beach with my family and kids.  Simple yet still special. 

I just saw friends of mine that bought silly string in the color of gender and had small get together where everyone sprayed the string to reveal.  They took pictures that ended up being really cool.

With my both my boys, we just had immediate family over for dinner.  I made chocolate eclairs for dessert and made blue whipped cream to put in them.  I've never seen people eat dinner so fast just to get to dessert!  It was a lot of fun.  We recorded everyone biting into them at the same time.  To tell everyone else, I just posted the video on facebook.
