Feeling Baby's Heartbeat - Somone's FB Status

A girl that is married to a guy I went to college with is pregnant and due in June. She wrote this on her status: "Hubby just felt the baby's heartbeat through my baby bump! Crazy.."

 

Is that even possible? I didn't think it was but maybe I'm way out of the loop?

    I have never heard of this. I don't think it's possible, unless he stuck his hand up into her uterus.

    Um, I don't think it's possible.  Also if she's due in June and a FTM, it's not very likely she can feel much of anything yet herself.

    This. I often feel my own heartbeat when I rest my hand on my stomach, as does DH when he tries to feel for baby. But we aren't stupid enough to think it's baby's heartbeat...seriously??

    Haha Ok good. Just making sure, I was almost positive you couldn't do that but then people commented on it saying how awesome it was so it confused me. But I was thinking the same thing.

    She also asked people to pray that she has a girl Indifferent (and found out today she is having a boy). She seems a little crazy to me.

    Okay I understand being upset over one sex vs. the other if you have your hopes up... but that doesn't mean you spread it all over facebook and for the world to see. That little boy is going to grow up and google his mom one day and find that. How awful :(

    I don't think it's possible. He probably just felt her own pulse and assumed it was the baby's heartbeat because it was from her stomach. lol

    I'm going to take a wild guess and say he was feeling her heartbeat, not the baby's...My DH can feel my pulse any time he puts his hand on my belly to feel the baby. This guy would have to have some pretty incredible super powers to feel the baby's heartbeat now if she's due in June! Now if she was 9 months pregnant and baby was pressed right against the inside of her belly, maybe he'd be able to feel it (sometimes I could when I was close to delivery with DD)...

    It's her own heartbeat. With all the extra blood flow, I can see my heart beat in my stomach now. But it's still my heartbeat. You can't feel the baby's.
