There's going to be a lot of girls out there if this thread is correct!
And yes, I feel like it's a girl. I have from the very beginning. I will be thrilled either way, but my gut says female. My mother asked me what I thought it was, and she agreed that's what she feels like it is too.
I keep trying to tell myself not to lean either way ... I hope it's not because we know our girl's name, yet have no idea what we'd name a boy! (And haven't thought it about it at all. Ha.)
We lost our first (EDD 07/23/12) after finding out at 12 weeks there was no longer a heartbeat. Our rainbow was born 05/22/13 and was worth all we went through.
“So can you understand? Why I want a daughter while I’m still young?
I wanna hold her hand and show her some beauty before all this damage
is done. But if it’s too much to ask, it’s too much to ask … Then send
me a son.” – Arcade Fire
I'm late jumping on this thread, but dh and I are fairly certain it's a boy. Everyone except one aunt also predicts a boy. Hopefully we'll know one way or another next month.
Mommy to N (3), J (2), and C (10 months). LO4 is due in mid-September.
My dad had a dream over the summer that one of his kids would get pregnant soon - unbeknownst to him, DH & I were TCC then. In his dream his first grandchild would be a girl.
DH & I have a feeling it's a girl, but we're both hoping reallly badly that it's a boy. I naturally refer to him as a "him." But I just have a nagging feeling that he is really a she.
We're not going to find out early, so I guess it's another long 6 more months to go!
I want a girl really bad but I am fairly certain it is a boy. Which I am VERY excited about too I am going to do the baking soda test tonight because I heard it is up to 75 percent accurate! At least it has SOME science behind it I can't wait for 20 weeks, though. I would SO pay for another ultrasound but I can get kicked off my insurance if I go outside of it and they find out.
I have the VERY strong impression that it's a girl- I keep referring to the baby as "she". FI is convinced that it's a boy- and FSILs both my FNs (nieces) and FBIL are voting girl. I think it's because so far, FI's sibs have only had girls, so it's like babies don't come in another flavor .
Part of me really wants a girl because I can't imagine being the mom of a boy!

I have been having dreams that this one is a girl since before I got pregnant. In fact, I originally dreamed it was 2 girl twins. This week I had another dream that me and two other July '12 mommas were having girls. How weird is that? My DH, Mom and Sister all think boy. But girls run our family, so I think they are hoping for a boy. My accupunturist thinks boy too, but only slightly. I don't know. I agree with a PP. If it's a boy, it just means we will try again for another one cause I really would love a girl. Ha!
I really think boy. I always thought I would have a boy first and DH comes from a family where boys are EVERYWHERE! His dad has 6 brothers! I know thats not scientific reason but thats just what I think! We shall see! As I start to look at clothese and bedding though the girls stuff is just so stinking cute!
