Swaddle Question

Is it safe for LO to be swaddled if she rolls on her side? I'm trying to transition DD to her crib (and off of me) but she rolls up onto her side. I guess I'm nervous she'll roll to her tummy and won't be able to move her arms. She still needs the swaddle because her arms wake her up. She used to sleep in a RnP but I don't think she likes it anymore.

    I don't know if it's safe or not.  Maybe try a sleep positioner?  I've read mixed opinions on their use but my pediatrician gave us the okay to use one if we want/need to.

    LO is swaddled arms out so this isnt an issue for us yet. Also it takes him a bit to roll on his side... but if I noticed him doing it I would probably either swaddle arms out, not swaddle, or use the sleep positioner

    DD is swaddled arms in and has been sleeping on her side since she was a few weeks old.  But that doesn't answer your ? is it safe or not...but that's how we do it!
