jerk -_- . Had our u/s today and everything was going so well except that it decided to sit cross legged with one hand on its crotch. Damn. Kind of an anti-climatic end to the appointment but I'm not as dissapointed as I thought I would be to not know. Maybe next time? *sigh* What team does it make me if the baby won't let me know? lol. Green? Yellow?...Orange?
Re: Baby G is a little....
Check out my cooking blog!
HAHA!! Good point!
LOL Very true.
Happy for a healthy babe!
2012
LOL. My son was very proud to show his parts in each of the 3 u/s I've had.
Either way, OP I'm sorry LO didn't cooperate.
Hahaha!!!
LOL so true! I know the tech said our boy had his hands suspicously close to his boy parts today
My DS did the same thing (I clearly didn't know he was a he)! Maybe he was touching himself. I was irrationally frustrated and cried that I was going to have (another) stubborn child.
Next time, try drinking apple juice before your appointment!
This made me laugh out loud! Then I thought about how if the girls over on the tri boards got ahold of any of this we will all be shamed by them for sure!
haha...I know right?!?! DS spread them for the world to see....he still does really. He hates having pants or a diaper on..and he loves to play with it. It's like really kid?? In front of your mom. And our girl was shy showing her face, but not her girlie parts. She was perfectly fine spreading her legs for the world to see. DH thinks a chastity (sp?) belt is in order. I just pray that they come out with a male BCP for DS to take haha...
Sorry you didn't get to find out. Our LO was the same way. However, we didn't mind, since we had already decided to not find out.
You are team green for now, but you never know. You could end up with another look.
Haha touche!
Michael Jackson baby? :-)
Do you get to go back soon for another u/s? My worst nightmare is that we will go for our a/s on Monday and they'll get everything they need just fine, but they won't be able to tell the sex and then they'll tell us they can't have us back for another u/s!!!! If that is the case, I told my husband I will be booking an u/s at the elective place, which I will not be doing otherwise. My husband is anti-electives, but there is no way I'm being on team green! Just not for me!
Thats exactly what I told DH when the u/s tech said she couldn't get it to let go of its crotch "well hun, its totally a boy and it totally takes after you" hahahaha.
I'm not sure if I get another shot, my doctors office isn't the one who performs the u/s but they are the ones who makes my u/s appointments for me at the hospital. I go back to see her on the 27th so I'm hoping to talk her into a do over. Not a big deal, babys room is green and everthing we have so far is gender neutral. Its more just that I got to see the heart from 50 angles, the measurment of every bone in each arm and leg, and everything else about a billion times (there was a student assisting before the tech took over) but not one usable crotch shot. Also I hate suprises. The anticipation kills me!!!
Edit: Pardon the spelling and grammatical errors, wow. Long day at work I guess!
