So yesterday I made my first baby item purchase. An adorable onesie with a Boston terrier face on it. I've been looking at it online for two months and yesterday I ordered one. I don't know if it's because I'm feeling really hopeful about this cycle or if I'm just trying to stay optimistic. I told my husband about it this morning and he was kinda shocked. I tried to assure him that it was totally normal for someone who is not pregnant to buy baby stuff.... cause it is, right? Totally normal? Anyone else?
Re: premature baby item buying....
I think that a onesie is understandable and normal.
A onesie was the first thing I bought when we were TTC #1 (and I later wrapped it up with the positive digital test to announce to DH)... as long as you're not setting up a ginormous registry and decorating a nursery like a crazy person, you're good.
This is what i was planning (hoping sometime in the future) to do to tell DH as well! I think it's a super cute idea!
Sure! It's on Etsy. Just out of curiosity, how is your Boston around kids?

I think it's normal...I have a little jumper I bought as soon as we started TTC # 2....thats probably worse than a onesie cause its gender specific
Just to chime in: I also have a Boston, he's 5 and has always been great around kids. While we don't have any yet...he has been around friend's kids and my niece and nephew. He is wonderful, he never jumps or anything. My nephew is a special needs child and my Boston is so sweet to him as well!

Can I say that your entire post made me feel better??
I was in Target about a week ago with my mom & they had all these super cute & adorable Christmas baby clothes on clearance. I seriously looked through a couple outfits & considered buying one "just because" (hey, it WAS on sale!) until my mom so thoughtfully reminded me that while they were super adorable, who knows if my (future) baby would even be that size to wear that outfit next Christmas. Moms are so smart! But I guess a basic onesie can be used all the time so maybe I will do a little shopping. I love the idea of wrapping up the +test in a onesie for the hubby!
