I remember in first tri, people were making gender guesses based on placenta location in uterus. Right side=boy, left side=girl according to the studies. Well, I don't know what side mine is on. But I also always have a hard stomach on my right lower abdomen but its softer/squishier on the left side. Do you think that means mine is implanted on the right side?? Or is this a bogus nonsense observation on my part?

Re: placenta location=gender guess??
Someone posted about this on May 2012 a few weeks ago, but she said it depended on where the baby implanted and was only accurate if you saw an early ultrasound.
In any case, it was wrong for me
Also, the majority of placentas are posterior, meaning that the placenta is on the part of your uterus closer to your back so you won't be able to feel it through your belly. Some people have anterior placentas but I've never heard that they can feel a difference in their belly.
Nothing will tell you the sex of the baby until you confirm it. The rest are all wive's tales. The chinese calendar prediction, how high/low you carry, m/s ... nothing will predict the gender of your baby
But that A/S will! I'm looking forward to mine.
Good luck!
Mine is anterior and low. I suspected it too because i felt my first so much earlier. WE're not finding out the sex, so it really doesn't matter!
