9 days late and still BFN

I have POAS twice since being late, both negative. So I'm pretty sure I'm not pg, but I feel so confused! My cycle has been super regular (25 days) since AF returned 3 months pp. The worst part is that we weren't ttc, but I feel really disappointed. I'm still breastfeeding, so I suppose that's it right?

I was 12 days late last time, and DH had the snip in July. I blamed out of control hormones. Enjoy the break.

You can still get pregnant even if you don't get your period. Breastfeeding or not.

Yes, breastfeeding can mess with your cycles. I'm sure you just ovulated later this cycle than the previous, but you're not "out" until your period shows up. Good luck.

The only thing that ever gave me regular cycles was the Pill, so I'm not much help. I had one AF post-birth after starting the mini-pill and then haven't had another one since I'm still BF. Good luck!

Thanks ladies! I'm still waiting, which sucks. My cycle has always been super regular before and after baby so this has been uncharted territory for me. I had never even seen a negative test before last week.

Thanks for updating! I've been thinking about ya. When I went off the pill last year to try to start ttc, my cycle was long, and I POAS several times before my period showed up two weeks late. Those negatives were so...meh.

I didn't get a BFP with baby boy until 17DPO. So maybe you ovulated late but you are still too early for a + HPT?

I have a "regular" cycle but it's like, 35/36 days. My last one was 42 days. I was freaking out, because I know mine are long but that was excessive. I kid you not I bought like 5 tests. It was a really bad November though, and I was super stressed, so I blame that. I'm not BFing or anything else and it was the first time my cycle has every done anything wacky. Sorry, I'm not much help besides telling you that you aren't alone.

Well, AF showed up today- along with a giant pimple between my eyes. Just in time for my first day back at work after the holidays.
