My water just broke - yay! :)

My water broke about an hour ago at 41w1d. We were scheduled to come in today for a membrane sweep with our midwife, but she had to cancel due to being at a birth. Yippee! Baby Mia decided it was a good time to get the ball rolling. We are so excited to meet our LO!!!

We had dropped off our dog at my parents house a few days ago thinking baby would be here soon, but decided to go and pick her up and bring her back because we were missing her. We spent the afternoon playing and cuddling with her and decided to take a nap at around 4:30, I layed down, turned over to the side and pop! My water broke in a gush. Midwives and doula have been called but will likely be tired because they are just leaving another birth!
