It's a great start to the year...

Tooting my own horn but I feel so great about what happened today: went to IL's today to see DH's aunt and uncle, who we haven't seen since September. They are a little earthy/crunchy and very health-conscious and as soon as we walked in, they doted all over me telling me how beautiful and terrific I look!! I so needed to hear that!! They crooned about how I must be working really hard to take care of myself and LO!! Although DH is great about complimenting, it meant so much to hear it from people who know me but haven't seen me. Great start to the new year!! Anyone else have something that started the year off right for them? Thanks for letting me get my brag on girls...;-)

    That is so nice that they were complimenting you so much! I was out with girlfriends last night that I haven't seen since November and they kept telling me how I only have a belly (and huge boobs!!!) but look tiny everywhere else!  I don't worry much about my weight I just want a healthy baby but it is nice for people to notice.

     Sounds like a great start to the New Year! 2012 is going to be great!

    What a nice compliment! My year started off right because I had a very productive, get-things-done-at-home kind of day.

    It is so great to hear those things because our bodies are changing so much and sometimes the changes are hard to handle.
