Mysterious Bruise on lower belly

So I was just looking at my belly in the mirror and noticed some bruising on the underside of my belly. I can't remember hitting it on anything but my rambunctious 3 yr old niece was crawling around on me a bit yesterday. Although I don't remember her hitting my belly. Anyone else have anything like this? It doesn't hurt and I'm not experiencing any other weird symptoms so I don't think I will call the dr. I have an appt scheduled for Tuesday so I'll just ask then. Thanks!

    If your niece put her knee or elbow into your belly, it could cause a bruise, even if it wasn't a hit.  Only other thing I can think of is it's a stretch mark.  Unless it really hurts or baby isn't moving as much, it probably isn't anything to worry about.

    Do you normally bruise easily? Are you on aspirin? Could you be taking too much vitamin E? Definitely worth mentioning to your doctor.

    I have been getting pigment spots on my belly since the first trimester that look like bruises.  When I got the first one I thought that it was either dirt (and tried to scrub it off) and when that didn't work I thought it may be a bruise but thought it was strange that it didn't hurt.  When I went to the doctor she told me that it was just a pigment spot and it was very common and didn't mean anything.  Since then I've gotten spots off and on on my tummy and my legs, none of them have lasted through to the end though and my doctor said that even if they did then they usually go away after delivery.
