Where were you ten years ago?

This thread makes me feel really old.

I was 22, and DH and I had been dating about 8 months or so. We went with some friends to see an awesome bluegrass band called Barefoot Manner. We got wasted and I told him that I made out with another guy at a Christmas Party while he was in London with his family. Obviously we worked through it.

I was 24. I would have been living in KS, dating a guy where we had no future (despite years together). I don't think we did anything special for NYE.

10 years ago? I have no idea. I can barely remember what I did last year. It might have been my first NYE with my DH.

I was 20 and a junior in college. I don't remember exactly what I did NYE- probably nothing. I barely consider it a holiday and the only year I really did anything exciting was 2000. Other than that year, I usually just go to bed as usual. Once in a while, DH will wake me up for the ball drop, if he happens to be up that late. So I'm going to say that 10 years ago I was visiting my parents and falling asleep.

I was 22 and dating DH. We probably went to a bar or a friend's party, I don't really remember. I'm sure we got drunk and I spent the night at his place.

I was 18, and went out with my best friend to a club. This year, we went to bed at 10:30 and I set my alarm for 12 so I could kiss DH, and then we went back to sleep. I know, we're wild!

i would have been celebrating with my family

we all would have been together Didnt know that 2002 will be the last time we will be celebrating new year's eve as a family. i dont want to be melodramatic, but had i known, i would have taken sooo many photos, and drank too many wine, and would have hugged a lot

I was 10, so I'm fairly sure we set fireworks off on the sidewalk in front of our house at midnight and I promptly went inside and crashed face first into my bed.

I was 20 ten years ago, so that would mean I was partying in South Philly a lot. NYE ten years ago = house party, jungle juice with Everclear, lots of making out with my husband, then boyfriend.
