Update: Enfamil

Just got the email below clearing Enfamil from having anything to do with the recent deaths. Thought I'd share....

...Now regulatory agency test findings released late Friday can give you one more measure of reassurance. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) completed their testing on all formula samples collected from us. Those tests confirmed that Enfamil PREMIUM? Newborn Formula is safe, and no presence of Cronobacter was detected-consistent with the result of two rounds of testing that we previously conducted.

The government testing was related to health investigations in Missouri and Illinois. No other incidents led to the testing of Enfamil products. The test results from the FDA and CDC-in combination with our previously reported results-should give you peace of mind and full confidence in the safety and quality of Enfamil and all Mead Johnson products.

All Enfamil formulas undergo approximately 2,300 quality checks and safety tests before they are shipped from our warehouse.
