looking for a little info

Hi ladies,

I am expectin baby #2 in July and I wanted to get a little insight from you in regaurds to cloth diapers. I have never used them and the only person I know who has is my mother (she had to use them on me..but that was 26 yrs ago).

 I love the thought of cloth diapers, 1)I think its sad how many diapers I have used with DS..let alone everyone else, and 2) I would be nice to cut the cost of buying throw away diapers

What are the pros and cons?

What made you decide to go with cloth?

    We chose cloth for the same reasons you have for considering it.  I haven't started it yet, but just the sound of it is more convenient than spending $50+ a month on diapers that are just going to clog a landfill.

    The FAQs really does have a lot of useful info.  I also suggest starting there.
