For me, it didn't work and it damaged my liver (damage reversed itself quickly though). My doctor was angry that I didn't discuss it with him first.
I would talk to your doctor before trying it.

I did a few years ago. I probably wouldn't go above 100mg (actually I may start with 50mg) because it isn't something to take high amounts of. And I swore I used it in combination with a magnesium supplement for absorption. It did help me after awhile, I gained a few days I'd say after 2-3 months. I was hovering around a 9/10 day luteal phase which was not normal for me. I don't know what caused it because I have always been 13/14 days before and since. I also sought out a maya massage specialist which helped too so if you have one in your area I'd try that out.
This book is pretty decent when it comes to nutrition and how it can affect cycle irregularities...
Thank you both for your help. I do have a doctor appt. on 1/13 but the insight of others whom have been through it settles my nerves. Thank you.
Side note: Our insurance does not cover any fertility test/treatments.
Call and ask about specific tests and they may be covered. When I first started I called my ins co and they said no when I asked about fertility testing/treatment. However, when I called back and asked about specific tests (HSG, SGH, hysterscopy etc) everything was covered.

Yes! I take it in combination with magnesium as well as fermented cod liver oil and an herb called vitex as well as OTC progesterone cream. I also practice lunaception.
Yes. When I started taking a multivitamin w/ B6, I noticed an improvement in my LP. I also make a point to try to get a good amount in my diet.
I second the recommendation for Marilyn Shannon's book. I believe it's now in it's 4th edition. My copy is underlined and doggie-eared, and I go back to it often.
I had a consultation with the OB/GYNE yesterday. I told him I started taking vitamin B6, 50mg daily. He said this was a good call and to continue taking it but not to exceed 100mg/per day. We will test progesterone levels on CD26.

I started taking 50mg/day on cd1. On cd15 I had an appt. with my OB/Gyne. He said it would be ok to bump it up to 100mg/day, which I did. I am now CD25/DPO9 without breakthrough bleeding. So for me, I see a positive result. No side effects thus far.
