I can't remember the name of the little shoes I should go get for DD. She will not keep anything on and it's cold here. I remember them being a soft shoe with grippers on the bottom.

Stride Rite are by far the best shoe for when she starts walking. Hailey's first tennis shoes were Stride Rites, and we just got her a bigger size a couple weeks ago. They last really well, they are comfortable for her, and she can't take them off.
I buy cheap shoes from target or consignment for all other occasions, (which I have noticed give her marks and things on her feet), but in my opinion Stride Rite is totally worth the money.
