How many of you momma's were correct in your "gut" feeling of gender before you found out? DH and I strongly feel like it's a boy and from the wivestales I've been reading, I seem to be having a lot of the symptoms of a boy. So just curious whose instincts were right and are having what they thought they were? We find out a week from today and I'm starting to get impatient!
(disclaimer - of course we will be completely thrilled and over-the-moon regardless of the gender)
Re: Gender Question
I was clueless with this one. "What do you think it is, Sarah?" "Ummmm, human?" But, I knew 100% with DD from the day I found out I was pregnant that I was having a girl...AND that I was going to deliver on June 21.
On a side note...OWT are 50/50. It was right with DD and wrong with Alien.
both my H and I guy were right
although closer to finding out, he was starting to stray, but still was mostly towards boy
This for us too! DH dreamed he was holding his son 2 weeks before we found out I was pregnant. Every dream we've each had since then, it's always been a boy. And from day 1 we've both just had that feeling. I'm using the OWT as reinforcement and convincing...lol. We'll be happy either way, but just curious what other people's thoughts were. Thanks!
This. We both just kind of felt it was a boy the whole time. I've been calling him "him" from the beginning. Either way, we are ecstatic about our LO!
I was wrong. I thought it was a girl. I had horrible morning sickness, the baby had a high heart rate, the heartburn was insane...I just knew it in my gut....a girl.
haha, BOY was I wrong.
I am thrilled to have a new little man in my life

The instinct was wrong with my first child, save for one clear moment of subconscious guessing boy. The instinct was correct with this child, but with one moment of thinking it might be the other sex. We said from before we got pregnant, from the hpt, all the way through to the blood test and eventual confirmation we thought it was X and it was X.
But we were the only two who thought girl for Gabriel, and were clearly very wrong there, so even instinct isn't right on.

All of the old wives tales were wrong for me and my gut was wrong until the day before my a/s and then I somehow knew I was wrong... DH didn't have a guess.
DH and I both thought girl. The old wives tales and the Chinese Gender Chart also said girl.
We we will welcoming a bouncing baby boy in May!
Still haven't had our A/S for this one but with DS from the moment I found I was pregnant I thought he was a boy. I'm not as sure with this one but I'm thinking boy. I don't know how the old wives tales turned out because I didn't pay much attention to them. Though this pregnancy is different from my last.
With DD I knew. I had thought I wanted a boy but kept having girl dreams. I think it was someone's way of getting me used to the idea. So when they said girl at the u/s I said, uh huh. The tech said I didn't sound excited, I said I just knew.
With these guys I thought there was one boy, but never imagined two in htere!
I was convinced DS was a girl. Wrong....
I had no gut feeling on this baby. Everyone and their brother told me I was carrying like it was a girl. It's a boy.
