Any one else feel like chugging water?

I'm usually really bad about drinking water- drinking fluids in general- but especially water. Ever since this BFP I've been really thirsty. I'm sure its my body just telling me what I need.  Anyone else?

  • That's very normal.

  • Yes and no. I feel dehydrated all the time but water makes me want to throw up, I've resorted to watered down gatorade. I'm chugging it all day. I mix 50/50 so at least I know I'm getting a decent amount of water every day.

That's a really good idea- I have a friend who has horrible m/s and can barely keep water down. I'll share this with her.

  • I typically drink water throughout the day, but ever since my BFP I can't get enough!  I don't remember being this thirsty with my DS.

Same here. I was never this thirsty with DD#1 or DD#2.

This. I don't remember being this thirsty either with DD. It's good to keep hydrated though :) You'll avoid a lot of head aches!

  • I haven't found myself to be excessively thirsty since I always have something to drink anyway. However, I do find that I crave water instead of my usual sodas.  That is super odd for me.   I still drink sprite and I'll have one coke a day, but if you put water next to it, I go for that.  lol... Thank God my body has more disipline than my brain!

  • I was actually craving water all day for the past two days which I thought was odd. But I noticed that it also helped with some periodic cramps I was having so bottoms up! Smile

  • I've always tried drinking a lot of water, but now water tastes so good and refreshing that yes, I do feel like chugging it! The only negative is feeling like I have to go all the time!

  • It's making me feel better, more energetic. Hope that feeling sticks around once the tiredness kicks in.

  • I was so thirsty from the time I found out until like the 6th week. Now every once in a while I feel like I still can't get enough water.

  • I'm also not a big water drinker, but man, I've been chugging water like nobody's business.  You're not alone!
