Annoying Present

Well, I will let you kavetch about your most annoying presents while I try to get the red dye out of my couch. Santa thought transformer pjs were a cool idea but forgot to warn me that the dye on the pjs rubs off on EVERYTHING! (any hints for getting this out of my couch would be appreciated too)

    OK, I'll go.  Cars playhouse with 50 balls to be used inside our 750 sq.ft. house.  DS godfather who has  no children.  I could kill him.

    If ever there was the revenge present, you hope he has a child so you can gift him with toys that make noise and do not contain batteries. Like the FP corn popper.

    Um, it hasn't driven me up the wall yet, but E & K got LPS remote control cars that yell "WHEEEEEEE" and "WOOHOO" and honk and beep and make all sorts of absurd noises. They also have a mute button. They got nothing else that make noise of any kind, because my family knows that I seek revenge and get it.

    My mom gave my LO the Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn My Pretty Purse, and this thing just drives me bonkers. The thing makes me irrationally livid. It comes with crinkle money, a mirror, keys, a bracelet, and a lipstick rattle. What annoys me are the lipstick rattle & some of the song lyrics: ?before I leave the house I?ll put my lipstick on? and ?What?s my favorite color? Let me think?yesterday it was purple, today it?s pink!?

     

    So yeah, I'm probably being a smidge irrational. It?s not that I don?t buy girly things for LO, but for whatever reason this thing just rubs me the wrong way. And I know my mom didn?t mean anything by it, she?s just happy to finally have a granddaughter to buy things for (my parents have 3 grandsons) & she found this cute and wanted to gift it. I was venting about it to MH and his response was ?So?turn it off??

    We have that one as well....and it's turned off because I find it annoying too!

    Yes, we have the FP Purse as well.  The contents are removed and put into the toys that DD can play with easily.  The purse is hidden.  It is very annoying.  I really should write a review for it.  Way too girlie.

    My MIL bought the same thing for ds.  We put it together at their house and left it there.  As a "special toy" to play at gma's. There is def no room in our house for that thing.
