It took us 2 years to get pregnant. We were just about to start treatments and my job transferred us over 500 miles away. Once we were settled in our new home, we began the search for an infertility doctor. It was a long search and we never did find one. We charted and planned and ate all the right foods, but had no success. Sadly, my father-in-law passed in late August. Within 2 weeks, we were pregnant. I know he was looking out for us and gave us the best present we could ever dream of!

Kind of a long story.

2004 I had brain surgery

Oct 2007 I went off BC and didn't get my period.

April 2008 I went to the doctor about it.

From April 2008-Aug. 2010, I was seen by 4 doctors, did rounds of progesterone/estrogen to kick start AF (which didn't work), had 2 HSG's, a hysteroscopy w/a D&C due to random scar tissue, tons of blood work and u/s.

Aug. 2010 The fertility specialist diagnosed me as hypo/hypo amnoherrea. It was a result of my brain surgery which we didn't know was a risk. As a result, I do not produce estrogen, FSH, LH, or progesterone on my own.

From Aug 2010-April 2011: I saw a neurologist to get their approval to get pregnant due to my brain condition, saw a MFM twice, then once they both signed off, we started treatments in May.

It took 4 IUI rounds to get pregnant. A long journey but so worth it

With my daughter we luckily got pregnant the first month we tried (after charting/NFP for a year prior to that).

With this one we got pregnant on cycle 6 of trying (one cycle was a c/p).

With DD it took 18 months a 3 rounds of fertility meds and Finally got PG with Met/Femera/Trigger and IUI.

This time we tried on our own and were using OV predictors but I did not think they were working and on cycle day 60+ I decided to POAS and it was a BFP. I had 2 cycles after DD was born. I feel very blessed to not have to go through all the Tx this time.

Fertile Myrtle, Honeymooner. and Oops here... We finally got married after being together for 4 and a half years in August. AF came to visit on September 4 (we got married on the 27th) and on October 7th, after knowing my cycles like the back of my hand, I knew something was up. I got my BFP that morning as soon as my pee hit the stick. We weren't necessarily trying, but we weren't doing anything to prevent it from happening, either.

Came off BC in May, prevented until September when my STD would kick in in time, and got pregnant on the first try. DH complained that he didn't get to practice. Hahaha.

We decided this summer to start trying after my back started feeling better. After 4 cortisone injections into various parts of my posterior bits (with no relief), I got a new diagnosis in August, and the treatment worked. Started trying and BFP on Oct. 21.

DS was a surprise baby...fun night out...baby 9 months later

We were trying for roughly 6 months without temping. However we had a hiccup in May when my husband was in a motorcycle accident. This put a damper on the baby making. But we are thrilled with the timing of this LO and pray all goes well.

I finally went off my BCP last January and got pregnant on our first try in March, that pregnancy unfortunately ended in a miscarriage. We waited two cycles to start trying again and after two cycles of trying, we were pregnant again and here we are!!

Tried for DD for a year. Annovulatory and clomid-resistant. The first round of injects, trigger and timed-intercourse worked

This pregnancy we were winging it. My cycle came back after being pregnant, and we were fine with whatever happened. We planned to try again around xmas and that was allowing a few months of trying so maybe I'd be pregnant around DD's 1st bday, but it happened much sooner! they will only be 15mos apart.

I'm in the fertile myrtle and oops catagory. I had been on bcp for 4 years. I really didn't like it and had tried different ones. My BFF was getting married to a catholic and they were having to take classes. She started telling me about natural family planning. I thought that would be a better way. We want children but just not then. Our 1st annivesery is tomorrow. Well I stop bcp at the end of July. I never had a period. I figured it was just bc I was getting regulated. On 9/29 I was home alone and printing off charts for the nfp. I thought I should check and had a test left over from my younger sister (long story). I took it and was positive before I sat it back down on the counter. Needless to say we were shock. This baby was an oops but of course wanted and I apparently am very fertile. It's mirena after this one.

We did the whole "not preventing" deal for a year. Fertility testing showed no chance of getting pregnant without IVF. Started IVF this year in May (failed), August (failed), and had some frozen embryos left after cycle #2. Successful frozen embryo transfer Sept 30.

We were trying but never really charted or temped. I got off the pill in March of this year, and got our BFP in Oct. We enjoyed trying and always thought that adoption would be our path to parenthood (planned to start the process in Jan.) so we both were pleasantly surprised. We still hope to adopt or foster in the future.

DH and I decided to get off birth control in July so I could a) figure out my natural cycle, then b)start tracking my fertility so we could start for baby in the next six months. We figured we would give me 3 months to get regular then start tracking. Once we got several months of tracking in we would start working on the kiddo. So we were planning on not starting on actually trying for at least 6 months or so. Even then we did not expect to get pregnant quickly. Yeah. We got the BFP on Oct 13

So when my Granny told my brother that she thought we would be pregnant within the first 6 months of being married, she was right. We found out 3 days before our 6 month anniversary. What a lovely surprise

We started trying in July, and got our BFP on our third cycle. I thought for sure that I was out that month, so I went out and bought a big bottle of pomegranate juice, some green tea, and a BBT to start charting. Got my positive a few days later

Technically I'm still infertile! I was dx w/ Premature Ovarian Failture about 5 years ago and was in active menopause at the time. We spent 4 years on adoption and suffered a private failed adopiton in 2010. About 6 months later we were approved for a donor egg program through an international clinic (I'm in Canada and it's illegal here) and it worked on our first try!! I haven't heard many others talk about DE IVF here but I'd be happy to connect with anyone who is in a similar boat!

I would definitely be an "oops".. almost "honeymoon baby". We got married Sept. 3, had a couple days of using no protection a couple weeks later.. and boom, here we are! We were both shocked. I mean, obviously I know "it only takes one time".. but it seemed too easy, especially since I know several people who have tried and tried. We both feel very lucky, and SO excited.

Hubby wanted to start trying in July. I wasn't on board yet.. I wanted a ring on my finger first! But, slowly, he convinced me. I knew he had bought the ring, it was just a matter of time. Then, we got engaged at the end of August. We moved into a new house in September. & I got a lower stress job in the middle of the month. & on Oct 21, we got our BFP. It was probably only 3 months of trying.. I feel very lucky.

2 miscarriages, a near death experience, 5 IVF cycles, and 5 years later, I'm pregnant and it's going well!!!

We decided to stop "using" anything in May but I was not keeping track of anything either. Then we decided to go back to not trying and then we got drunk at a wedding and took a late night dip in the hot tub... and the rest you know! lol

We got pregnant on the second cycle TTC with both DD and this one. I went off the pill and started charting a year before we TTC DD. I will never go back on the pill. I do NFP now.

I'm able to get pregnant easily, but not stay pregnant easily. Luckily progesterone seemed to do the trick this time.

We definately have a honeymoon-ish baby! I stopped taking BC in May got married on September 16, and BFP in October. We weren't exactly trying....but we weren't not trying either. We feel so lucky that we were able to conceive so easily and wouldn't have it any other way

We are fortunate in that we are very fertile. We got pregnant with DS after one month of trying, and I got pregnant this time around after having sex one time (yes, I said one time) in the month of September.

I was taking a one-month break before starting new birth control pills since I had just stopped nursing, so I wouldn't let my husband near me (poor guy!). Well, he finally got me to give in and voila! LO #2 expected June 16th.

We weren't planning on 2 under 2, but we're thrilled! And I have friends who have had trouble conceiving so I know how blessed we are that it happened so easily for us both times.
