I'm currently praising the nap gods

Actually, I should be praising dh.  He didn't go in until late today and ds has no problem napping for him.  If it is just me home it's a game and he will not go to sleep.  Our house is quiet now with a baby sleeping on my chest after going on an eating binge, and a toddler asleep up in his bedroom.  No Peppa Pig on the tv.  No crying from the baby.  Just Jeopardy quietly on the tv, and the computer.  This is nice.

    Seriously what is up with this phenomenon??? DH was around more today and bothy boys have napped well. I feel like DH must think I have it easy with naps. NOooo they skip naps about half the time when it's just me but always sleep well when DH is home!

    That terrifies me! Im so scared that will happen to me too! DS naps for me every.single.day no problem, but I have heard some horror stories about sleep regression and defiance from the older sibling. I really really hope DS continues to nap b.c If he doesnt I think I will go insaine.

    Yeah, there are definitely days I feel like that.  The lack of naps ends in problems because he really isn't ready to get rid of them.  The days he doesn't nap we end up doing some quiet time in his room.  At least he'll go in there with a book and toy and be quiet for a bit.

    Right now he's pushing taking too long of a nap but I'm selfish and don't feel like waking him up because it's so nice and quiet.  I'm sure I'll pay for it at bed time, which I get to do alone tonight, but it's so worth it now!

    Yeah, he's been asleep 3 hours and it's about 4 hours from bedtime now.  If he naps much past 2 hours I usually pay for it in the end.  If he's still sleeping this long, he obviously needs it though so maybe he'll be in a better mood when he wakes up.  Also, my mom is coming to help tonight so maybe he'll be really good for his Neena.  Fingers are crossed!
