TTC After a Loss
May I please join TTCAL? I read the rules!
Hi All, I've been lurking around TTCAL for the last few days after 2 months on Miscarriage/Pregnancy Loss. My sincerest sympathies to everyone here and I admire the strength of the women on this board. I read the TTCAL Rules for Newbies and Lurkers so I'll do my best to give as much support/compassion as I did on MC/PL. I drop off a little when work gets crazy but please don't think I'm a "drive-by" if I disappear occasionally.
Since I don't have a siggy (the reminders are too hard), here's my background - I'm 38, I've had 3 missed m/cs (Feb 2010, May 2011, Nov 2011), and the Drs don't have a clue what the problem is. I have no living children but I have a supportive DH who understands me most of the time. However, he doesn't get why I'm sad on every m/c anniversary or EDD, why I swear at the TV during diaper commercials and why I avoid our friends' babies like the plague. I suspect you gals understand this and I hope I can be part of this "give support/get support" board. Look forward to getting to know you and hope all of us are on PGAL in 2012.

Seriously though, I am so sorry for your losses. One loss for me was hard enough, so I cannot even imagine what you've gone through. It sounds like you have a great DH, but I agree, no one can understand like the ladies on this board.
I hope you find this board as informative and supportive as I have. ((HUGS))

Welcome, I'm sorry you have to be here, but hopefully you'll find support you need. I'm very new, but already I feel the support. I just had my first pregnancy/first m/c a few weeks ago....MH tries, but he just doesn't get why I am sad sometimes. It's definitely great to go somewhere where people really get you.

You might think about putting a pic or something in your siggy to help us remember you. You dont have to use a pic of you, some people have funny ones, cute quotes or pics of their pets.

I'm sorry that you have to join us here, but I'm hoping that you find the comfort and support that I have.
Welcome. I am so sorry you have had to join us. I can not even begin to imagine how difficult it is for you and the other repeat loss ladies. I have suffered one loss and as we all know, that is one too many. I hope you find the support you are looking for here. I for one think these ladies are freakin' amazing and you definitely get what you give, so be as involved as you can be and you will reap the rewards.
As for your doc not knowing what the prob is...are you seeing a regular OB or an RE. Have you had RPL testing? It might give you some simple answers for your losses to this point and maybe something as simple as a baby aspirin a day could make your next BFP your sticky baby. I don't have any experience with RPL testing or an RE, but there are lots of ladies here that do, so they may be able to offer more advice as to what things you might want to look into are. Also, I believe there is a Multiple Loss Checkin each week, that you might be interested in.

The women here are wonderful, and while I still post on the mc/loss board there to give support and offer some advise to those fresh from loss, this is the board that gives me the strength to laugh (and cry) on a daily basis.
