Pregnant after a Loss
In Limbo :(
Well, I should be 6w6d today. The largest measurement they could get on the u/s was 5w6d. They could see the gest. sac and the yolk sac and something the tech thought would become the baby, but no official baby, yet.
When we went back to talk with the doc, he wasn't completely pessimistic. He said it could still just be early, but when he looked at my labs and I gave him what should be my O date, he wasn't completely hopeful, either. If my HCG has doubled as it should, I should be in the 16,000-20,000 range and he didn't like that we couldn't see a HB if they're up that high. We set up another u/s for next Tuesday, but they went ahead and took another five vials of blood. If those numbers come back low, we'll know. If they're good, then hopefully we'll see baby on Tuesday.
This waiting game SUCKS!!!!

They didn't say and I didn't think to ask. It will either be this afternoon or tomorrow. If I don't hear from them by 4, I may call and just check. We did it right around lunch time, so I'm not sure if that was too late to get it in today or if it will be tomorrow.

So sorry you are in limbo.
My doc said we should see a heart beat when my hcg was 25,000, but my o date still put me at 5 weeks and some days. We didn't see a heartbeat until the following week. Fingers crossed for you.
