My puppy is mad I can't run

in 2nd Trimester

She's 10 months old and use to 3-5 miles a day. Running is just not comfortable anymore so I have decided to not do it. Speed walking just isn't cuttin it for her either. I feel bad! And her energy is driving me nutty!

    my 3 basset hounds are the same way. luckily they tire out after about five minutes because they are lazy boys but they look forward to their runs with me in the evening and some nights iam just not up for it. i get the evil eyes from every corner of the house!

    can you play with her outside with a tennis ball or something?  Our lab goes to the dog park and to doggie daycare and coupled with long walks, it tires him out, and if we can tire him out, living in the city with no yard, then you can tire any dog out!

    See the cute pup in my siggy...let me introduce you to the Princess Master of the Guilt Trip. We lay by the door, show big brown sad puppy eyes at Mama, then sigh like it is killing me...ya...that is this one. Each time she comes in from going out to go potty, she nudges her leash and then looks at me like "Can we go now Mama?" Nope, sorry kid...it ain't happening right now. Even though Mama knows she should get her pregnant a$$ outside for some exercise, it is cold and snowy and there is too much to do in the house. ***que the sigh***

    Posted this after 30 mins of running around the backyard playing fetch and tug a war. Lol she needs another puppy playmate our 7 year old dog is already sick of her this afternoon.

    This is my 7 month old great dane pup EXACTLY! I try to walk him for 30-45mins a day, but he tugs and tugs because he wants to run/jog like we used to. Poor baby, momma just can't.

    Dog park? If she's socialized ... that's where I take my dogs now since they are also becoming a little wild in the house and the backyard isn't cutting it.
