Sorry ladies after Thanksgiving/pre-xmas crap has kept me from being a good little bumpie and posting a check in. So here it is.
How is everyone feeling/doing? How was your holiday? Did Santa (or whomever brings your gifts) bring you all you could want? Are you planning anything exciting for New Years?
I'm feeling pretty meh I think. I'm having some major pelvic pain that I cannot describe well to my doctor. I do a lot of walking and it just simply hurts to walk. I am fine sitting or standing but walking is brutal. I am hoping at my next appointment I can get someone to help me. This last appointment i was prescribed and albuterol inhaler because I've been having some difficulty breathing (I was dx with asthma many years ago but have not needed an inhaler or any medication for it since I lost weight 4 years ago) it has helped a great deal. I also still have to do this GTT and get my flu shot both will be done on NYE.
The holiday itself was pretty awesome. My entire family except my bro, SIL and niece were here. I got to spend time with my sister, my mom and my dad. I got all I could ask for, and more. Some issues with some things (broken spoon my my butter and jam set from PB and they also mismonogrammed my cheese dome so had to get that fix PITA really) but overall I was happy with my gifts.
Something a little sweet from Christmas-My husband bought for me for my first mother's day a pandora charm bracelet and every Christmas and Mother's day since he gets me a new charm or two. This year's charm was a kangaroo with a joey in it. His purpose for buying was to commorate our trip to Australia in 2006 (which I knew as soon as I looked at it) but it turned out to have a duel meaning and one that ended up being even sweeter and "aww" worthy than he thought and he said "it only occurred to me when you were opening it that the joey is in the pouch" and both my mom and my sister said "that wasn't intended" and I said "no" (before Ray could answer) "I believe, and correct me if I am wrong, he actually bought it to remind me of our trip to Australia 5 years ago" and Ray said "Right. But it looks like it has more meaning than I thought" and I absolutely love it. It was not on my wish list but the boy did good. ![]()
New Years is going to be fairly low key. We're going to catch the new Sherlock Holmes film and grab some thai food minus the kiddo. We'll be home before 9 without a doubt and I am sure I'll pass out soon after. LOL.
Hope everyone is doing well.

Hi! Your DH is so cute. What a sweet gift!!! I'm sorry you're hurting too. I've been getting that a lot when walking, too. And when trying to turn over when sleeping!
How is everyone feeling/doing? I am feeling kind of terrible. I can't stop crying! It's ridiculous. Everything makes me tear up. I also have a heel spur, and this weird triangle of pain where my thighs meet my body and in a line like from hip to hip.
How was your holiday? It was OK. We finally got to see DH's family, who I haven't seen in 3 months, but at my parents' house I got all weepy again.
Did Santa (or whomever brings your gifts) bring you all you could want? I got a Kinect from DH! I'm so excited. He got it because I do tabletop RPGs with my friends, so I can still play via kinect once E is here and I don't want to leave her.
Are you planning anything exciting for New Years? I plan on DDing for a drunken husband lol. But I'm glad to. He deserves to just let his hair down. We go to the same party nearly every year, with mostly my friends, so he always lets me drink. This time he gets to, and that will be cool. Plus I have a friend who is pregnant with twins that I haven't seen since before /I/ got pregnant (and she's quite a ways behind me) so it'll be cool to talk with her.

Baby Evangeline is here!
Christmas was ok... I'm still terrified I might be getting sick from it, though. I've felt run down all week and at the beginning of the week I had a lot of muscle aches and sneezing... The SiL I now am starting to dislike came to Christmas sick. She was "too sick" to go to work or to drive (MiL and FiL went and picked her up to bring her to their house), but apparently not sick enough to think she shouldn't go where pregnant me and my other pregnant SiL were. DH and I left "early" compared to when he wanted to leave, but I still spent 6 hours in the same spaces as SiL, who had been running a fever the night before. Stupid not being able to drive a manual transmission well enough not to be a hazard on the road...
Other than that, feeling fine and doing well. Getting the house ready for company this weekend and trying to figure out where in the yard we should have a bonfire New Year's Eve. But I got the hot dogs and marshmellows to cook on the fire, so I suppose we're mostly ready. Just have to do some more cleaning... sigh.
