Great 38 week appt!

3 cm dilated, 80% effaced, and LO's head is "really low.". All those BH are doing something!  Hopefully LO decides to make his/her appearance soon :)

    Had my appointment yestrday too. It was funny, the doc asked if I"m noticing anything different and I said I"m having painful contractions and her repsonse was an excited "GOOD" lmao. How often are you excited that you are in pain HAHA

    I'm not dialated yet but am 50% effaced which is where I should be at 36w according to my doc.

    Hard to believe that we are almost there :) Come on contractions do your work :)

    I didn't have her check me last week (my doc said that it's up to me if I want to be checked or not - and it HURTS, so I declined last week), but at 36w I was "not quite a 2."

    My midwife and I were laughing about this yesterday too.  In her words "In what other area of medicine are vomiting, bleeding and pain considered good signs?"  I couldn't think of a single one.
