I am just starting out with cloth and have been trying out a variety of systems. I love the GroVia shell covers! But the snap-in soakers do nothing to contain breastmilk poop and it gets all over the cover. Am I missing something? The soakers are so narrow, does GroVia make wider ones? Or do these diapers just work better later on when things are more solid? Right now I'm using the covers with my orange-edged GMD prefolds instead.
Re: GroVia users
I have not found any system that will really contain bmilk poo and keep it off of the cover. Even PFs and covers (although better than the grovia). I don't care as long as it stays in the diaper.
It's just a fact you have to deal with. Grovia AI2s are our go to daytime diaper and we went through a lot of covers when she pooped a gazillion times a day. Now that she is older, she only poops 1-2 times a day and she only goes through a few covers between wash times. It's still a lot less laundry than pockets or AIOs which you can never reuse.
