Does anyone have or previously had the Coach Addison Leather Baby Bag Tote? We're thinking about getting it, but if I'm going to spend that kind of moula, I'd like to make sure it's worth it and will last a while. Anyone love it or hate it? Heard anything about it? Thanks!!
Re: Coach Baby Bag
I was a manager at Coach for three years and love Coach, in general.
However, I did not purchase myself a baby bag from them. I have a multifunction tote that doubles as a baby bag that I have used for business and I HATE it. I find the two straps are way too short and the bag itself is bulky which makes the single strap uncomfortable and overall it is not very functional. In general, their baby bags are to make a style statement, in my opinion, they are not meant to be highly functional baby bags.
I wanted a cute, purse-ish looking bag and I got the Skip Hop Versa bag. I am hoping it works well.
This is what I registered for!!
I also agree that a lot of the designer bags are for statement only, and not functionality. DH was going to get me a Kate Spade diaper bag until we actually tried them out, they were SO heavy and only had 1 or 2 internal pockets. There is no way that would work. While I think they look nice, I'll take ease and functionality over a designer bag.
Have you looked at the Tim and Leslie diaper bags? They very fashion forward but are made to be an actual diaper bag.

I have looked at the Coach baby bags in person and I don't think they are very functional. I do have several Coach purses and mostly enjoy them but the baby bags are definitely lacking.
I purchased this diaper bag and I LOVE the size, the external pockets, the internal pockets, the finish of the bag, the accessories, and the fact that it looks nothing like a diaper bag. It is the Timi & Leslie Rachel, I got it in rouge.

I have the Coach Alex in black. It has lasted quite well (DD born April 2010). I plan to use it with this baby as well. It has a good amount of space and pockets for bottles/sippy cups. It comes with a changing pad too (I never used it though). The patent leather won't show dirt either. I have used it as a business bag also. Multi functional and not baby looking. Not the Addison but I hope that helps.
I have the coach bag...but not in leather... *checks the website* (https://www.coach.com/online/handbags/ProductDetailWrapperView?storeId=10551&catalogId=10051&langId=-1&partNumber=16975_svbk)
Second one over from the left in the top row. I really like it...almost matches my purse that I use now.
I think it was worth it for me.
I looked at that bag but ended up buying a Juicy Couture bag instead. Coach is pretty popular here and every new mom I know has one so I wanted something a little different
On a side note, I have learned that baby bags are a popular gift. I already have 3 diaper bags and I'm only 22 weeks. I can only imagine with my showers will bring! If the return policy was different where I purchased the bag I would probably return it
I was an excited mommy who bought a ton of things early on in the pregnancy and realized that many stores have a 30 or 45 day return policy.
Is it big enough for you? I just got this bag, too. But don't know what to expect as far as size, since this is our first baby! Let me know if you can, how its working out for you!
Thanks!
