S/O The Stomach Bug - A Question

I'm supposed to go out for a big girls dinner tonight and take the baby with me for a bit (it's only 5 mins from home so I'll run him home for bedtime).

One of the girls just posted that her DH is sick with that horrible stomach bug.  She doesn't have it (yet) and may still come to dinner.

Would you go to the dinner yourself?  Would you take the baby?  Should I skip the whole thing?

    Its incredibly contagious...i think we got it from my niece who I think I hugged hello and goodbye...  I wouldn't take the baby for sure..and I might think twice about going myself (to avoid bringing it home).

    OMG!  I knew it was crazy contagious but that is nuts.  And my sisters are going and I'm spending the next week with them (one sis is visiting from overseas) so if this chick goes, I'm screwed!  I'm really hoping she comes to her senses and doesn't go.  If she does, I'm out.

    yeah..its a bummer!  and my FSIL got it from DH and I the day before we had any symptoms..again, just a hug hello and goodbye.  if you do go, just be sure to do good hand washing, etc.  its a nasty bug, but the really tough part was very short lived for us...some nausea and lack of appetite for a few days after, but just a few hours of really bad sickness.

    My sister organized it so I just told her what I've read on here the past couple of days.  I don't think she gets it but I've stated my case (nicely). If this girl is going to the dinner, I'm out.  Sis is giving it some time and hoping the girl cancels but not directly asking her not to come at the moment.  I'll talk to her about it again later today.
