There were tons of babies born in my family this year that we just met for the first time at Christmas. What surprised me was everyone used different bottles/pacis- I guess I'm just used to what we use so it stood out to me that they used something else. Our baby is a drop-ins/nuk baby, and has one cousin who's Dr.Browns/Soothie and another who's evenflo/mam.
So now I'm interested to see the popular combos out there- what brand is your bab? Also is it different than what you planned? Post your preferences!
Re: What "brand" is your baby?
Sorry, this has NOTHING to do with your question...but are those fabric Fallopian tubes and uteruses??? LOL!!
But to answer your question, I use Brown's for pumped milk. We used a pacifier only one night when she was super fussy and we couldn't figure it out. We did not plan to use a pacifier, and the next night when we tried it again she spit it out immediately, haven't tried again.(We are very glad about that! Just our opinion!)
Yup! They're plushie utes
I found the pic on a blog years ago and they were kind of my infertility mascots- its hard to be mad at your uterus when you picture it like that- all smily & snuggly lol.
Dr. Browns/NUK here.
After a lot of "comfort nursing" we introduced the paci, to give DW a break from being a human pacifier.
And we really wanted glass bottles, and several friends has used Dr. Browns with a lot of success.
With this LO she's Avent bottles and Avent pacis. My other 2 were brown's and mam.
I want one!

DD#1 was Nuk/Nuk.
DD#2 is Evenflo/Nuk. She is a strong sucker and was drowning herself with the Nuk bottles.
my read shelf:
LO is a boob/avent and nuk baby. I was hell bent on avent whenever we needed to use a bottle and we tried soothie, avent and nuk, but the nuk is the only one she'll take, but not well.

Born Free/No paci.
Fastest year of my life.
DD1 was an Avent/Mam baby.
DD2 is an Avent/Soothie baby. I hate the Soothie and was so glad DD1 didn't like it. However, the Soothie is the only paci that DD2 will take. I just ordered a Wubbanub so hopefully I will like the Soothie a lot more once that gets here.
We use Drop Ins and Avent/Soothies pacis.
Originally we were using Avent and Breastflow bottles but I didn't like those. Drop Ins have worked really well for us.
BFP #2: 8.31.16 Dx w/ GD @ 28w DD Born @ 36w: 4.21.17
DD1 was an advent baby at daycare but never really liked a paci. DD2 is hopefully going to be an advent baby too but I've been lazy and haven't given her a bottle since we got home from the hospital. I should get on that! She won't take a paci either.
Im actually happy with the lack of paci love in this house, one less thing to worry about forgetting and we don't have to eventually figure out how to ditch.
DS: Born Free/Mam
DD: Born Free/Soothie
Posting from an Android sorry for any errors
My DS too! we are exclusively Avent
Evenflo/Soothies.
They were the third kind of bottle and the fifth kind of paci's we tried and they are what worked so we stuck with it.
Drop in bottles and NUK pacis.
Breastflow and Soothie; but LO has a "Tight Upper Frenulum" which made latching on to breast difficult and had a similar problem with the Breastflow bottles, so now we are using playtex drop ins.
Dr Browns/Soothie
Although she really isnt a big fan of the binkie
DD is a Breastflow/Soothie (Wubbanub) user also.
