I am so bored at work and it is going to be a slow week. Any suggestions on a good book?

Also, I love end of the world fiction....but I'll read whatever.

    Eddy- I re-read the Hunger Games series- it really is an awesome well written story.

    I finished The Help last week and it was good as well. Not post apocolyptic. You could try The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I have it on my to do list. Also if you like zombies, World War Z was pretty good as well. My brother just finished Warm Bodies (another zombie) book and loved it. HTH

    I teach middle school, so I read books aimed at 12-year-olds.  They're the best books out there. Smile

    Some suggestions:

    The Hunger Games

    I just started the first book and I really like it, I didnt know it was the tweens.

    I like girly crap, so right now I'm reading Mini Shopaholic in the Shopaholic series by Sophie Kinsella.

    It's a mix between the new Chuck Palahniuk book, Mindy Kahling's memoir and the No Cry Sleep Solution.

    I love Chuck P. his writing is a bit dark. I also like David Sedaris and Augustus Burroughs. They have a dark sense of humor.
