I've read that it is good to test around 2pm for catch your surge. I work in a busy doctor's office and I'm going to have a hard time testing then. I could probably do it around 1:30pm and again at 7pm when I get home. What time does everyone do their OPKs?

TTC since August 2011
RE appt September 2012

Re: What time of day to take OPK?
FMU & when I get home from work around 5:30. I don't ever bother with the 5:30 one anymore because it's never ever positive, even with consecutive FMU positives.
I normally test between 2 and 3 when using opks but I am using my cbefm this cycle so I will test with fmu
Last cycle was the first one where I used them regularly and got a positive. On the day that they were positive, I tested with FMU, then at noon, then 5PM & 9PM and they were all positive and then negative the next morning.
I realize that was a lot of testing but since it was my first time with +'s, I wanted to see how long my surge was for future reference (plus I was in disbelief
Going forward I will probably test with FMU and then again around 5PM.
