Do you feel like pee gets everywhere with fitteds?

I really want to like fitteds and wool but I tried them one night and I just felt like there was pee all over his PJ's and sleepsack.  They weren't actually wet but I guess I realized that wool actually absorbs the pee, doesn't block it from coming out.  Am I crazy or has anyone else felt this way?  And were you able to fall in love with fitteds afterwards?

    Yes, wool absorbs the pee, but the lanolin in the wool turns the pee into salt and water, then the water evaporates. So really there isn't any pee getting all over his PJs or anything. :) (unless he just completely soaks through both the diaper and the wool, of course, but that's not the norm). I <3 my fitteds and "magic" wool. lol!

    No, he doesn't get pee all over his PJs/sleepsack in wool. The wool absorbs the pee and that keeps it from coming out Smile

    How many times did you lanolize? I have some covers that I had to lanolize a few times before they started working well.

    Yes, which is why I stopped using fitteds. It felt like I was taking a soaking wet towel off my baby during a diaper change. I never liked them.
