Lightning crotch at 15 weeks?!?

WTF! Is it normal to happen this early? With the week I have been having, I am fearing dilation. Please talk me down from this nonsense. The pain started early this morning and only lasts for a few seconds each time. Add on cramps and backache... I am miserable and terrified. I should also say that I am on modified bed rest, so I am not too concerned with the back ache. I also have placenta previa, so this kid is probably river dancing on my placenta causing cramps. I am a miserable pregnant woman but am praying he will stay snuggled up in there. I will take all the misery that comes with this pregnancy if it means he will come home with us. So... Am I crazy? Is this just more growing pains and baby stepping on a nerve? Or do you think I should be concerned? Ooh and merry Christmas all!

    Merry Christmas.  I had lightening pains with my first. It may be related to round ligament pain.

    I have definitely been having lighting crotch a lot lately!  I have had so many weird pains, yesterday was especially miserable.  I think it's normal.  Mine comes and goes all the time lately though and I mean my eyes get huge and it will stop me dead in my tracks.  I'm trying to take it easy today because I notice all of the pains get so much worse when I'm up doing stuff all day.  Take a deep breath, I think we are just supposed to be miserable!  Hopefully we'll get a break soon though!
