Chest/Lung Pain?

Today I have been having some pain that feels like it is in my lungs. It is a sharp pain that comes and goes. It mainly hurts when I breath in.

I tried to call my doctor, but they are closed for the holiday. Has anyone had the same feeling?

    Honestly if I was having chest pains and couldn't get through to my doc I would go to the ER.  Not to freak you out, but esp. with pregnant women chest pains could possibly be a blood clot in the lungs.

    Yes! Maybe a week or two ago, I'd say in the chest/lung/rib area. Went away the next day though and now I randomly feel such pain where my legs connect to my hips, same sharp feeling. I honestly just chalked it up to the baby making some room inside me and didn't worry about it. But now since u tried calling ur doctor maybe i should've too....oops =( I did rationalize though, that if it becomes difficult to breathe then freak out but I was fine so.....hopefully it's fine.

    I guess I'm just trying to say ur not alone if that's any comfort at all

    It sounds like it could be pleurisy (sp?)

    they will only give you good pain killers for it because it is one of those things that has to run it's course.

    However, I would go to urgent care to get checked because chest area pain is nothing to ignore.
