sneezing & blowing my nose

Okay, I consider myself more of a lurker than a poster... so I hope I still get some responses. Thanks in advance.

Last night in the middle of my sleep, I sneezed. I woke myself up because it hurt. As I was laying there trying to go back to sleep, I sneezed again. The 2nd time was the worst pain! I felt like my whole lower abdomen was squeezing together. I got up on my hands and knees and tried stretching it out and it finally stopped hurting. It also hurts when I blow my nose (I'm getting sick if you can't tell). I usually have to bend/hunch over before I blow.

I guess I just want some reassurance that other pregnant ladies have had the same issues. I was almost in tears it hurt so bad!

I have gotten that pain too. Not all the time, but every once in awhile when I sneeze. My OB said it was round ligament pain which generally comes on when you move suddenly (like when sneezing) or get up to fast or stretch too fast. I'm not worried that it's anything else but it does suck when it happens Sad

Definitely RLP. I get it when I sneeze, cough, fart, or jump up from a seated position.

Yep, as the others have said RLP. I get it mainly when I cough or move too quickly. Definitely not a good feeling.

I was just hoping that since I felt such horrible pain that it didn't hurt the baby. This is my first pregnancy and I'm trying not to be crazy about every little thing, but this scared me a little too much.
