Help me out here. I didn't realize you could spell this name so many different ways.[Poll]

    I think Alan looks more like a first name and Allen looks more like a last name.  I personally think last name middle names are cute, but that is the major difference that stuck out for me.

    Ditto.  I've only ever seen Alan as the first name and Allen as the last.  The only one that gets a side eye from me is Alen.

    I am in no way suggesting this spelling but I know a girl who's name is spelled Allyn.

    Despite the vote trend, the more I see that spelling, the more I fall in love with it.

    Hahaa, this is SO's name and he spells it Alain, the French way. I like it but that might just be because I like him.
