car seat ...happy???

does ur LO their carseat???!! and if so for how long?? my DD is ok for about 20 min...and maybe 30 if her music is playing..other then that she cant sit and just be happy..(i usually go out when i know is her nap time and she will pass out )..ALSO just curious where your LO's r sitting in the car and if they r faceing rear or front??

    My LO's behavior in the seat is similar to yours. He's typically not happy for long if he's awake although I have the added benefit of a personal entertainer with an older child in there. My LO is in the center and most definitely RFing as it's recommended now to keep them that way until 2. I will most likely keep him that way till 3 like I did his older sister.

    DD is usually fine in the van.  She is RF in the middle seat of the middle row.  She has rarely riden in a vehicle being the only kid, so there is always entertainment.  She has one kid next to her and one kid behind her to watch.

    It's hit or miss with DS.  Sometimes he's perfectly happy for hours (we've driven 7 hours a few states away a few times).  I made a 3 hour drive twice with him and he was fine (by myself so thank goodness).  Other times from the minute I buckle him till we get there he screams.

    DS is behind the passenger seat and will be RF for quite a while.

    DD is RFing behind the passenger seat.  She is happy that way and likes riding in the car.

    DD is RFing and she doesn't really care for it. I got the windows tinted because she was always complaining about the sun in her eyes, but that didn't seem to help either.
