Multiples

Yes, it took me this long...

I actually took all three to the store for the first time today-it only took 16 months and it didn't kill me.  I loved all the looks I got and comments like, "you have a full load don't you."

Oh welI,  I looked at people like that, too, prior to kids.  Paybacks I guess....

  • Great job! I only have 2 but was very intimidated to take them out myself. I honestly am still intimidated but can do it in small doses. It's kind of liberating I think to know that you can do it if you have do.
  • good for you!

  • You are brave!  I was really nervous going out today with the twins and my 10 year old stepdaughter and got plenty of stares and comments.  At least one of them slept pretty much the entire time!
  • Congrats! It's scary at first but then when you do it, it's not so bad!
  • Good for you! Did any anybody ask you if they were all yours and the very next question is always "are they triplets" our kids are close in ages so I wondered if you got that too?My DD is so tired of those questions she actually answers for me now! LOL.

Hahaha!  I guess when you just don't "have" to do it then, it's a nonissue.  I mean, I have care for the kids several times a week so, I plan what I need to do in that time.  I will say that they babies are getting to the point where they are hell if they aren't doing something by about 9:30 am...they don't nap until 1:00 so, I may be having to do this more since they don't go back to school until January 4.

  • Wow I am impressed. Did you do a real shopping trip or just quick stop in to pick something up?  I told DH it was my goal to never take the twins grocery shopping :)

Not a full out shopping trip but, several things of litter, cat food, case of water, coke etc...heavy things.   It was busy and everyone in their dog was there so, had to stop and speak.  We were there about an hour.

I am so glad I am not the only one that thinks it was a big deal.  I know there are women who do it all day everyday but, I don't have to so, I don't.
