2. How far along are you? 5+5
3. How is treatment going for you? I am on a Medtronic insulin pump with Enlite cgm. I keep a journal of what I eat, how much insulin i take and why, and my thoughts about my blood sugar trends. I actually have a phone conference with the diabetes educator today. She will log on and look at my downloaded sensor information and we'll talk.
4. How are you doing? R/R? I was doing great, until yesterday. My blood sugar started going up in its own. But corrections will bring me back to 90, and then it will start to trend up again. And it keeps trending up. I'm confused because it's a relatively new infusion set. I've been doing some temp basals trying to get it lower, but I was at work yesterday so I've spent then past 24 hours averaging in the 150-190 range.
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert?
Welllll I'm always a fan of WinterJack. It's apple cider whiskey. DH and I will microwave it and it's like drinking hot apple cider. I'm going to miss it these coming frozen weeks!

1. Why are you high-risk? Obesity, previous miscarriage as well. I did try to lose weight (I lost 125 lbs) before getting pregnant but I'm still a 43 bmi. We weren't trying, but everything happens for a reason, and we feel very blessed/hopeful.
I might have gestational diabetes - taking blood sugars every few hours (before / after meals). They go really low and sorta high so idk if I should take the medicine glyburide or not - as it can create low blood sugar.
Still having some cramps but not as bad... some symptoms not so bad as before, some dizziness. No bleeding / spotting thankfully. Although it can be normal.
2. How far along are you?
5 1/2 weeks or so - 6 weeks on Friday I believe (they couldn't date that well but the gyno estimated)
3. How is treatment going for you?
I need to talk to my doctor but unfortunately I'm between Obs right now ( it's just how it happened - in my area everyone is booked). I do have an appointment on the 20th to make sure I can establish with an actual Obstetrician (my gyno only follows first trimester). I found a good Obstetrician clinic an hour away, but for me being high risk it's worth it.
I wish I could get a quicker appointment but it happens... I'll call my gyno or primary doctor today just in case... but they act like I'm bothering them. Like I don't want to take chances with my or my childs health - idk.... This is too important though to not be determined to fix.
4. How are you doing? R/R?
Tbh all I can think about is how much I want this baby to be born, and for he/she to be healthy. So I guess reading about pregnancy, and looking at all the cool preggo apps.
I'm not too stressed ...yet. Trying to remain calm and let things go...
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert?
I like watching the snow fall up here, and Christmas was fun. Watching the days get lighter is always a good thing too.
I carry an S antibody
2. How far along are you?
5 weeks 4 days
3. How is treatment going for you?
No treatment thus far. Will get blood drawn monthly to make sure titers are not raising.
4. How are you doing?
I am good. From speaking with the high risk doctor I have a very low chance of the baby becoming anemic since this is the first pregnancy carrying the antibody.
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert?
Hot chocolate!
1. Why are you high-risk? I am heterozygous for Factor V Leiden with a history of blood clots (not in pregnancy). In my last pregnancy *TW* I had severe early onset preeclampsia and my daughter stopped growing at 19 weeks. I was able to make it to almost 26 weeks but she was so small she was stillborn. She just couldn't survive birth and a c-section would have been too dangerous for me given how small Ella was. I also almost didn't make it. My kidneys and liver were mostly shut down and my BP got up to 210/110. I didn't seize, but I was close and lost my peripheral vision temporarily. It took 10 months for my kidney and liver function to normalize!
2. How far along are you? I am about 5 weeks 1 day.
3. How is treatment going for you? Ok, I guess. I'm on low dose aspirin, calcium and Vitamin D supplements, 100mg of Labetalol twice a day, and I start 150mg of Lovenox this morning. I start OB and MFM appointments on the 24th and 31st respectively and will most likely be at an appointment every week with either one of those or my hematologist.
4. How are you doing? R/R? I am SCARED. I can't think beyond 20 weeks. I'm having trouble letting the excitement kick in.
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert? I LOVE winter! I guess I love caramel apple cider and hot cocoa, but due to a Whole30 diet, I settle for warm apple cider with cinnamon and nutmeg!

BFP on 1/6/17!
With my first pregnancy back in 2013, our baby had a rare developmental disorder. I had 4 or 5 ultrasounds by the time I was around 10 weeks when a High Risk MD figured it out. He said it was called Limb Body Wall Complex. All of the baby's organs were growing outside the abdominal cavity and his brain wasn't developing. He was also growing in a twisted formation. Completely catastrophic and incompatible with life. A year later, I got pregnant again but it was a blighted ovum. Since then we tried on our own for a while and then did 5 rounds of IVF. Our very last cycle was with our last 2 embryos. This is our miracle baby! (Or babies..haha, 1st ultrasound is in 13 days!)
2. How far along are you? 5+3
3. How is treatment going for you? Good so far! I'm on progesterone injections and I take Heparin twice daily. I'll be released from my fertility MD after the ultrasound and then see a high risk MD. I'm kept on light duty for now which is ok by me! I'm trying to stay positive, stress free and put my trust in God!
4. How are you doing? I'm doing great so far! Minimal cramping when I change position quickly. Sore boobs but no crazy nausea yet. I'm super emotional lol I'm just extremely grateful for these symptoms!!
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert?
Oooh I do have a sweet tooth! I love cheesecake from the cheesecake factory....I don't have it very often though. Trying to minimize the sugar intake!!
Congratulations to all yall! It's so nice to have support from others that are on a similar journey

Obesity, previous history of GD and preeclampsia

ill be hanging out around both August and here because my EDD is 09/07/17 but given my previous birth history I will probably deliver at 38 weeks!
3. How is treatment going for you?
Havent gotten a complete treatment going yet, I had my first appointment today but I wasn't as far along as they expected so I got back on the 27th to figure that all out!
4. How are you doing? R/R?
I'm doing alright! This pregnancy is much different than my other one so I'm just taking it easy! I'm also trying to be much more healthy than I was with my first!
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert?
Poke cakes!
1. Why are you high-risk?
I have type 2 diabetes that isn't controlled through diet and exercise. It's only controlled through insulin. My pancreas is just a little lazy.
2. How far along are you?
5 weeks
3. How is treatment going for you?
So far it's been a learning curve with the rapid dose insulin and finding the right combination that works for me and my hormones. But I feel like I'm getting the hang of it.
4. How are you doing? R/R?
Im doing great! I'm happy and excited.
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert?
Before i was pregnant I love drinking baileys on ice. Winter is the only time I drink it. Now my favourite treat would be sticky toffee pudding. *with insulin pen in other hand*
2. How far along are you? 4 weeks 5 days
3. How is treatment going for you? Just got my appointment for first US next Wednesday & will get blood work done then.
4. How are you doing? R/R? I'm taking it a day at a time. Watching what I eat and trying to minimize stress. And walking on the elliptical for 20 minutes a day.
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert? Winter time is comfort food time. My fiance makes a killer Chicken and Dumplings.

I have an immune deficiency. Makes it very hard to fight off germs especially when pregnant. I also have gastroparsis so my stomach sucks sometimes. With my first pregancy my daughter had IUGR (they don't know why it happens so not related to my health). They thought she wouldn't make it but she beat the odds and hung in there until they induced at 36.5 as she was in distress. Once you've had IUGR it's 50/50 to have it again. Really Praying that this baby doesn't have it.
2. How far along are you?
5 weeks 4 days
3. How is treatment going for you?
First appointment is on the 27 th at 8 weeks exactly with the MFM. Will start blood thinner injections then to help with blood flow and maybe prevent IUGR.
4. How are you doing? R/R?
I'm nervous about staying healthy. Nervous about growing but staying positive. Nervous about everyone's reactions when they find out as things were so dicy with my first I'm expecting people to be shocked that were doing it again, especially so soon. Expecting judgement for it being an accident.
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert?
Hot Chocolate
2. How far along are you? 4+2
3. How is treatment going for you? Had a blood draw yesterday and found my progesterone on the lower end for what my doc would like so now i'm taking it vaginally which sucks because the darn pill is RED which gives you a heart attack in the morning when you see red toilet paper lol
4. How are you doing? R/R? I'm still peeing on things...well, just sticks but you know what I mean. The cheeps are pissing me off because they're not getting darker...and coupled with no symptoms other than feeling like i'm retaining some fluid, it freaks me out. Trying to take it a day at a time as well and thinking that 2017 CAN'T be worse than 2016 so i'm trusting God has a good plan this time around.
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert? Ooooh...I like a good chili and for dessert? hmmm. I'm gluten free so that's tough. I'd say bread pudding but I can't have it whaaaahhh. I've been on a fresh popcorn kick lately...kind of nice to eat while watching a movie and having the fireplace going...

3. How is treatment going for you? There's no treatment for Turner's, but I seem to be doing okay. I was diagnosed a few months ago after I got some testing done to find out why my pregnancies weren't lasting more than 6 weeks.
4. How are you doing? R/R? I woke up this morning with some light spotting and the on call Dr told me to get an ultrasound immediately. I got one and everything looked fine. I took the day of work and BSOD when I got home. DH is being super supportive and is really kicking in now.
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert? My favorite winter treat is peppermint ice cream

2. How far along are you?
4+4 Today based on date of LAMP
3. How is treatment going for you?
Our first visit with the OB is on the 24th, so we shall see how it goes. I'm not really liking the Metformin they have me on. I am nauseated enough with out any extra help from meds...
4. How are you doing? R/R?
Doing great so far. I was so sure I was out this month, so I could not be happier right now!
5. GTKY: Favorite winter treat/dessert?
My favorite winter treat is a cup of hot tea and my husband's double fudge espresso brownies. They are to die for!
