6 year old chocolate lab that still thinks he's a puppy and a 7 year old chocolate lab / something else mixed who acts like an old man. They're awesome.
I do not have a dog right now, but when DD was born I had a boxer mastiff mix. I miss her.
I think we are going to get a dog in a few months...probably a Staffordshire bull terrier mix, if possible. There are size restrictions at the apt complex we're moving into this spring...it's too expensive for a purebred, and the mixes I've found at local shelters are too big. We'll start looking more seriously once we've moved though.
He's 1/2 standard Schnauzer, 1/2 canine of mystery. We think Fox Terrier or Jack Russell. He's a rescue and they weren't even sure of his age so it's just one of those things we will never know.
we're the crazy people who have not 1 but 2 jack russell terriers .. or in our house we call them 'jane' russells since we have 2 girls.

One appears to be a Pit/Collie mix and the other is def a collie/shep mix. The mother was a collie stray, and as he is full grown it is very obvious his daddy was a gsd.
A female Basset Hound and a male Pit mix, who is the biggest sweetheart ever.
The Basset is almost 6 and she's just starting to calm down some, she can get insanely hyper and she sounds like a herd of elephants when she gets to tearing around the house.
Our purebred dalmatian passed away a few years ago. We still have our black lab/greyhound mix and now a yellow lab/blue heeler mix.

www.petfinder.com You can find ANY breed on there and many rescues are willing to transport!
We have a great dane and a "beagle mix" that's what the shelter called him, but he's quite the big beagle mix at 85lbs.

She was a rescue...but we looked up her breeder and she was an $8000 dog. People are fools.
