This past weekend I went into the city (NYC) to see the Rockefeller Christmas tree and to attend a friend's engagement dinner with DH and friends. I was a bit worried my back and hip would give in, and wouldn't know how I'd manage with all the people pushing and shoving while walking around, but thankfully no one bumped into my oversized belly, and besides having to sit in the car for an hour drive, my back was fine.
What really made my night was while DH was waiting in line for our car in the parking garage (I've never seen a line sooo long of people waiting for their cars to come out), I waited in a tiny corner by the clerk window where you pay for parking (been waiting for a good 30 min), and one of the attendants pulled out his leather chair for me to sit while I waited for DH to pay. I was so grateful and wonderfully surprised there are such considerate people, even in the city
Isn't it great to be pregnant during the holidays and getting positive attention from our bumps? Love being a Dec/Jan Mom!
Re: Such Kind People, They do exist!! :)

I'm in Miami too but I'm not originally from here. I have been surprised at the rudeness of people now that I'm getting big! My biggest pet peeve... when I am walking on the proper side of the walkway in the mall or a store and people who are coming at me from the other direction (on the wrong side of the walkway) nearly walk into me rather than move over a foot to go by me. Hello?? I'm 8 month pregnant and you are 22 - GO AROUND! I now stubbornly refuse to push over any further and just stop in front of them until they walk around me.
There have been a few shining moments though when people have offered to carry things for me or let me cut ahead in the line at stores. There are a few nice people out there!?
