Anyone want to help me brainstorm some party ideas?

DD will turn 2 on Sept 2nd.  Since it will be her golden birthday, I was sort of thinking of going with a theme related to that.  I could use goldcolored paper products, but anyone have any ideas on food items/cake, decorations, games, party favors that would have "gold" or "golden" involved? (All I can think of is goldfish crackers and goldilocks and the 3 bears..haha)

    I know that you can get metalic candy beads to put on cakes.

    Awww I like 'Goldilocks & the 3 bears'!! You could totally run away with the bear theme and I would give a copy of the book as a favor.  I'm sure you could find somewhere online and mass order.

    - I'd serve gummi bear candy (for those at the party old enough to eat them)

    - serve teddy grahms

    - Use a stuffed bear holding balloons as centerpieces

    I like the Goldilocks" theme you can also have different size chairs for LO's for a game of musical chairs or set up at little tables.
