I need help.
Toddlers and Tiaras on TLC is my guilty addiction and a new season has started. I just can't stand it anymore. My daughter is obviously too fantastically amazing to sit on the sidelines and watch these other girls win her crowns. So we are going to enter the world of pageants.
Emily just isn't a pageanty name though. I mean these girls have way more princessy stellar names. So first help me rename my daughter, my top picks are:
Airabellia
Jessalyn Jo
Mariellah Mariah
We'll start with that. More things to come on our road to stardom. There's a lot to prepare for. The next pageant in Iowa is the Miss Beauty of the World Pageant on March 18th! If Em wins the crown, she will have the opportunity to "encourage, motivate and inspire children around the globe of hope, love and education."

You should probably get a home tanning booth and start an order on some flips. Nobody likes a baby that doesn't have a mouth full of teeth.
I admit to that show being one of my guilty pleasures as well (when DH is not home). He refuses to watch any television show that has a child crying, whining, etc in it.
What are you going to do about ridicously expensive dresses for your daughter. I about fell off the bed over the $700 custom dress the mother of the 23 month old ordered and then it was too short and the hand/arm accessories didn't even fit right. I know some parents even spend more - I just can't imagine!!
700 dollar dress? I think my LO's most expensive dress was 15 dollars at a mom to mom sale!! LOL
I love Emma Leigh. Or Brooke Lynn. I would also recommend getting her ears and belly button pierced. We need her to WOW the judges.
The beauty of that name is that it's open to interpretation.
I saw a mom on there the other day putting fake nails on her 1.5 year old. Maybe you could make friends with her? Clearly she knows what she's doing.

Is this the one where it was his last pageant and they had a big going away thing at the end? Sooo stupid. You can bet your azz they don't do that with every little girl that retires.

I agree on the perfection of an "open to interpretation" name. It has the added bonus of allowing me to get super pissed when it's pronouced wrong.
Should I find a middle name? Or should I drop a last name all together and go for a solo name like Madonna, Prince, Brittney, Oprah? I'm thinking solo because come March 18th who isn't going to know AYMAHLEE!
ALL expenses will come out of her college fund! Because she certainly won't need a college fund once she's famous. Plus frequently top crown winners get college scholarships. And honestly only the cheapies spend $700 on a dress. I'm looking at ones with real swarovski crystals and genuine cubic zirconias beaded in by small children in China. You know the ones she'll be preaching peace, love & education to.
Better pop some Rogaine on that kids head if he's going to have a rat tail by March! LMAO that kid with the tail was just oh so sad.
