i really need to get this show on the road.
how much do you use? oral/vaginal? both? just bought a bottle of 1300mg softgels.
i'm 39w5d, so no worries of going too early. in fact, this baby needs to leave before the 26th or i don't get a chance to labor him out.
i'm doing acupuncture, drinking red raspberry leaf tea, eating spicy and having as much sex as i can tolerate. have way too much discomfort with SPD to really walk much ...
any epo experience and other labor starting dust would be greatly appreciated ...
Re: evening primrose oil ... how do you use it?
I read something about lobster during the end of my last pregnancy. I was looking at anything to get the baby out of me!!
I went dancing with my hubby and my water broke an hour later.
there's supposedly some reflexogy on the foot that will send you into labor too.
good luck!!
i've got some great advice. First stand on your head, then rotate 180 degrees. then while still on head, scissor feet 3 times from front to back and 5 times left to right. Oh and you must do this naked. Around 4am. I swear it will work!
I'm silly. Good luck friend!
"Evening primrose oil is an excellent source of prostaglandins, which we already determined readies your cervix for labor. It can be taken orally as soon as 34 weeks, and can be applied directly to the cervix at full term (36 weeks). The general recommendation is two 500mg capsules per day until week 38, at which time you increase to 3-4 per day. The entire capsule can be inserted vaginally (inserted just before bed, it will dissolve before the first time you wake to use the bathroom), or you can use the oil on your fingers for your perineal massage, then also rub on your cervix (assuming you can reach it). Applying directly to the cervix is optimal, but the beneficial ingredients are absorbed through the external skin or the stomach also."
I plan on employing some EPO myself when I hit 36 weeks.
