Right now Natalie sleeps in a footed sleeper and arms-out of a cotton swaddle. She's starting to move around more in her crib so I'm thinking soon we may have to get rid of the swaddle. I don't think she's dependent on it for sleep since both arms are out. But I feel better with her sleeping in at night because I worry she'll get cold in only a sleeper and I don't want to put any blankets in the crib. We keep the temp upstairs at 71-72 but she also has a cool mist vaporizer going which I think keeps her room a little colder.
What do you dress DC in so they stay warm enough at night in the winter?
Thanks

Liam has been sleeping in footed pajamas and his cotton swaddleme, arms out. Last night, I put a cotton sleepsack over the swaddleme to help him stay warm, but he still felt chilly. His room is the coldest room in the house! Tonight I may put a fleece sleepsack over the swaddleme for warmth. Or, break out the fleece jammies, but I'm afraid he'll get hot in those.
If Natalie sleeps arms out in her swaddleme, you can easily put the sleepsack over it. I don't know why it took me so long to come up with that idea
I was thinking I needed to wean him out of it so that I could put him in warmer sleepsacks for the winter. I think he still likes the feel of the swaddle on his legs. It helps him roll over easier during the night I think when his legs move as a single unit.
