update---still scared. not sure what to think....

Thanks ladies for all the support last night. You have no idea what it means to me. I cannot emphasize that enough.

DH and I went in for our u/s this morning. I should be 6w3d, but with my hcg levels only being 3583 my RE wanted to check with an u/s. He saw a gestational sac, but no yolk sac or fetal pole. I have to go in next Tuesday for more labs and then another u/s next Wednesday. He said it doesn't look good. I am beside myself. I am crying and numb and hopeful all at the same time. He said that I should expect the worst. I am just praying and praying and praying that our little one grows. I am really trying to have faith, but sometimes it is so hard when faced with this. If this ends up another mc my RE will do all the testing he normally does for a habitual aborter. I am just in shock. I don't want to believe it. At. All. Any extra prayers you have available throughout the weekend would be greatly appreciated. That said, I'm not sure how much I'll be posting the next few days. I know you can all understand how hard it is. I love you all dearly.

I have been thinking of you and praying for you and your LO all night/day. Im so very sorry that you are going through this. I will continue to pray that your RE is wrong and your LO is just a slow starter and next week everything looks right on track. Try to rest up this weekend and take care of yourself. My heart is breaking with you. I am in almost the exact same boat. 6ish weeks. Betas in the 3000s on Wednesday. I've also had spotting since last Saturday. I won't go in for an ultrasound until Wednesday either at 8 am. I pray for my little one to pull through about a million times a day and I'm going to do the same for you. Hope the next five days fly by for us and we both hear good news. I'm so sorry you have to go through this. It's the worst ((hugs))

I'm sorry we are both going through this. I will keep you and your LO in my prayers as well. I just keep thinking that they will pull through. I have to. They have to. You're right, it is the worst. FX it goes by quickly for us both. I am trying to do what I can to distract myself but it only works for so long. Big Big Hugs to you! Here's the thing, EVERYTHING I read says that our #s are in normal range. And, while it's not common for betas to take this long to double, it can happen otherwise the "normal" range for 6wks would start at 1000...... Ugh....I know I am being hopeful, I am just praying I am not being naive....

At 6 wks 4 days I had a sac and nothing else. They told me to be prepared to M/C over the weekend that it was a BO and to follow up with my OB when she got back in the country the following week. My Beta was high...like 7 - 8 week levels. The next week, I was in my OB's office discussing a hyster and she sent me for an U/S to confirm BO and there was my baby at 7 wks 4 days, heart flickering away!!!

Thanks for your success story DrangonflyBelle. I am soooo trying to stay positive as I have had NO cramping (just dull twinges in my ute) and NO spotting. I don't have many other pg symptoms either, but nothing showing my I will mc. My betas are lower than they'd like though. I am only at 3583 at 30DPO and I was at 995 at 21DPO.... a 114hr doubling time. I really really really am praying that my LO gets a growth spurt and I get to see the hb next week.... FX my situation turns out like yours has.

I am so so sorry that you are in limbo. Nothing any of us can say or do can make your situation any better, but please know that we are all here for you. Just take extra good care of yourself this weekend, because whatever is going to happen is going to happen and there's nothing you can do. Watch your favorite movies, grab a nice dinner, buy yourself a new gadget or book or something you can look forward to playing with--whatever it takes to keep yourself occupied during the next few days. You'll be in my T&Ps.
