My son keeps saying "tummy broke" and is extra irritable

Trying to figure out if I should take him to doc.  No fever but lack of appetite, red cheek (makes me think teething), waking up two hours earlier than normal past 2 mornings, and irritable.  I am not sure if he is saying "tummy broke" because he has a tummy ache or not.

    Does his stomach feel hard or bloated in any way? Have you ever done infant massage to relieve gas and have you tried any of the moves? Any chance he's constipated? Is he teething, and possibly his tummy hurts from hunger pains but he's not comfortable eating (try yogurt, applesauce, extra milk instead)? FWIW I'd be irritable getting up 2hrs earlier too...Never hurts to call a pedi, but those things went through my mind.
